Kathryn is from Forest Grove, OR, pursuing a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Computer Science. She is interested in bionanotechnology and fabricating artificial cells that can ‘communicate’ with biological cells. At LEGOS, she worked on bio-medical applications of colloidal robotic devices. Kathryn is an avid violin player. During her free time, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, doing digital and traditional art, biking in the countryside, and writing stories.

Andrew majors in physics at University of Michigan and is aiming for a PhD in astrophysics in the long term. At LEGOS, he worked on observing and exploring the applications of colloidal systems. During his free time, Andrew enjoys reading, gaming and talking with friends.

Nhayeon is from Busan, South Korea and is pursuing B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She is interested in fabrication of nanoparticles and that relating to the field of materials science. At LEGOs, she worked on dynamic self assembly of colloidal electronic devices. During her free time, she enjoys watching movies, going out to take a walk, and exploring around to find the best boba place.

Anika is a junior pursing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Food & Environment. She is particularly interested in bio-electronic interfaces and the manufacturing of particle systems and hopes to use her degree to improve human health. At LEGOS, she worked on bio-medical applications of colloidal systems. In her spare time, Anika loves playing with dogs and cooking.

Hemil is from Ahmedabad, India and is pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. At LEGOS, Hemil worked on the energy applications of colloidal electronic systems and he hopes to make an impact on the world through Chemical Engineering. During his spare time, Hemil spends his time practicing for triathlons and likes to be involved in water activities like swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba-diving, etc.
